This place needs a line out the door! Highly underrated! Great prices, amazing customer service, …and the food….top tier . The protein was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The tortillas were soft and chewy as if they just made them this morning. And the salsas…chef kiss . This place to be in the conversation with the best breakfast burritos in LA. The best Mexican breakfast in general! Saved to my Favorites. Will definitely be back!!

Ordered a torta cabeza, 2 sopes asada, 4 tacos and an horchata. Torta was great in flavor, about the usual fat cabeza has but most places usually dont have a good flavor. had the usual ingredients. the sopes were really good too. A really refreshing horchata. Clean well lit environment, and a dope patio section. And of course, excellent customer service. Offered the house salsa... which was surprisingly bomb.

I’m going to forever be chasing the high of that first bite of their Shrimp Taco. The shrimp was perfectly fried and tasty. The iceberg was crisp, and the crema SO GOOD. I should’ve ordered 5. My husband inhaled the chorizo breakfast burrito, which is saying something because he’s not into pinto beans. Our daughter disappeared a whole basket of fries and side of nacho cheese. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and there was plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Can’t wait to stop by again next time we are in Whittier. Thanks for the great service and delicious food!

**Review of Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef in Whittier** During my first visit to Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef, I found this taco spot to be a refreshing addition to the Uptown Whittier dining scene. The restaurant boasts a clean environment and a beautifully designed interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere accentuated by the friendliness of the staff. The menu offers a decent variety of choices, and it seems like the quality of the food generally lives up to expectations. Of particular note is the carne asada, which stood out as the best option. It was flavorful and well-prepared, definitely a highlight of the meal. On the flip side, the other meats didn't impress as much, lacking the standout taste of the carne asada. The salsas deserve a mention too—especially the spicy hot red sauce, which really hits the mark for those who appreciate a good kick in their condiments. While I might skip the other meats on a return visit, the carne asada is certainly a draw. For anyone in the area, Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef is worth stopping by, if not for a full meal, then at least to enjoy a taco or two in a nice, cute setting with capable and amiable service.

We enjoyed the sopes. The menu offers cabeza as a meat option, however, they don’t have any tonight. We went with chicken and carnitas and both were tasty.

Favorite taco place for my wife and me. Our favorite here is the asada tacos y sopes. The salsas are also delicious and they are not stingy with it. You get a bottle of each salsa at your table. Good prices too.

Had to make a quick pit stop, and I needed something to drink. I chose their horchata, and it was delicious and refreshing. The place was really clean and the staff was super nice to me.
